Teaches the knowledge necessary to lawfully conceal carry in Illinois.
This course is 16 hours long and consists of classroom and range time learning to shoot and qualify for concealed carry in the state of Illinois. Students will learn about the different types of handguns, both semi-auto pistols and revolvers. Safely storing, cleaning, owning, operating, carrying, and identifying firearms will be covered extensively because safety is paramount in all that we do.
Students will also have a knowledge and understanding of the updated Illinois Concealed Carry Law.
This course does require a live fire exercise in which the student must shoot a minimum of 10 rounds at each distance of five, seven, and ten yards.
To qualify the student must achieve a 70% or better.
